The ribbon is then attached to the cake around each individual tier.  The look is finished off with a beautiful bow.  Bows can also be used as a cake topper.  To add that extra “wow factor,”  many brides use a vintage-style brooch to complete the look.

The cake was a huge hit at the party.  She refused to let anyone cut the cake that night.  This cake would have fed about 75-80 folks.  She actually had a “cake cutting ceremony” the following day with more friends and family.

I guess that’s because they usually don’t pay full price and I have the freedom to do whatever I want…lol.  Well, I made this fish cake for my uncle’s 60th birthday.  It turned out to be easier than I thought.   My husband’s comment to me was, “I don’t know why you always underestimate yourself.”
